About Us

Early years.

Paul Fennell started his career at Alan Mountains (Honda dealership) where he completed his apprenticeship, achieving City&Guilds NVQ level 3. Following this he worked at Acaster Marine as a marine technician and from there he went to Moto Veloce which was a Ducati dealership, in the parts department. It was from here that Paul moved into the racing world.

On Track. 

The next 10 years were spent working on the race tracks. This includes :

  • World  SuperSport (Honda)
  • British SuperSport (Suzuki)
  • European SuperStock (Suzuki)
  • World Endurance (Kawasaki)
  • British SuperBike (Kawaski)
  • AMA SuperBike (Suzuki) in the USA
  • British SuperSport (Honda)
  • British SuperBike (Yamaha)
  • Northwest 200, Ulster & IOM TT (Yamaha)
  • British SuperSport (Yamaha)  
  • BSB Superbike ( Kawasaki )
  • BSB / Ohlins technical support 
  • World supersport (Triumph) 
With the race teams Paul had various roles including Chassis Technician, Engine Builder & Crew Chief. He was fortunate to travel far & wide during this time, including Australia, Japan, USA & all over Europe. Paul is currently working for Ohlins in the BSB

The London life.

Paul's career then took him to London for over 5 years to work for the Metropolitan Police. This was primarily working on BMW's & Paul went on BMW dealer training courses, though he also worked on a wide range of makes & models. He also worked on the AMPR, Communications & Police systems. 

Now back in York, Paul opened up theWORKSHOP (est 2012). He prides himself on working to the very highest of standards and endeavours to continue this.
